Girl Scouts Win Tree Decorating Contest and Bring Cheer to Others

The month of December was very busy for our local Girl Scouts. The month kicked off the Larchmont Chamber of Commerce Winter Wonder-Land Tree Decorating Contest. The girls made ornaments and decorated the tree for shoppers to enjoy (and vote for) during the holiday season. Their tree was sponsored by Catizone Engineering and the contest was sponsored by Wonder, who provided the $500 prize money to the Girl Scouts for receiving the most votes for their tree. Other local organizations that decorated trees and entered the contest were The Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions Club, Fields for Kids, Autism Speaks, and the Junior League.
